Kerala Blasters told Michael Chopra to "PROVE YOUR FITNESS" ahead of ISL 2016

Michael Chopra Former Newcastle United striker has reportedly been asked to prove his fitness by Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters.Chopra, 32, played for the Kerala Blasters  in the first season of the tournament in 2014.

In the Scottish Premiership in the 2015-16 season, managing just 15 appearances out of 36 games and scoring two goals for his team.
Chopra, whose father is an Indian, played nine times for Kerala Blasters in the inaugural season of the Indian Super League and did not scored any goals.Since March this year, Chopra has been without a domestic club. He scored over 100 goals during his varied stints with clubs such as Cardiff City, Newcastle United, Ipswich Town and Blackpool.He scored a total of two goals for the team out of 15 appearances.

"When I went there [India] the first time I don't think I fully understood what it meant to be there, and I don't think I gave it my best shot. I thought it would be easier than I expected and it wasn't like that," he told in a skysports interview.
chopra saying "I am fit and having full confidants in my fitness also i will come back in full shape because i went to india for the first edition of the ISL 2014.
"I injured the same ankle and the surgeon told me it hasn't been the same since. But he has now cleared everything up in my ankle and says I will be able to move around a lot better on a football pitch which is a good thing. I am going to come back firing."
