Kbfc(kerala blasters football club) is one of the best emerging football club from india.It is a  professional football team based in kerala. Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in kochi is the teams current home stadium. stadium having the capacity of 60,500 to 75,000. 2014 May 27 the team was found by the former indian cricket legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar along with Prasad potluri.Now the owners of the team is Sachin Tendulkar, ChiranjeeviAkkineniNagarjunaAllu AravindNimmagadda Prasad.




According to the Newindianexpress information sachin tendulkar having 40% stake and rest with the actors.In the first two seasons Hyderabad-based PVP Ventures had the rest of the shares.
The team played inaugural match on 13 october 2014,losing 0-1 to NorthEastUnited at the Indira Gandhi Stadium. KBFC having record league attendance with an average attendance of 47,427.In 2014 the semi-final match between the Kerala blasters and the chennaiyin fc brought around 61,323 crowd into the stadium.During the first season(2014) kerala blasters managed to make it to the isl final, they were faced Atletico de kolkata in the DY patil stadium in Mumbai.The match was so close to each other till the 90min, the match went to injury time at the 95th minute mohammed  rafique scored the winning goal by heading a goal into the kbfc goal post.
History
Isl was found in 2013.A 15 year ,700-crore deal signed with Reliance Industries and International Management Group on 9 december 2010 by All India Football Federation.
The cities selected fot the isl in 2014 was Delhi,Goa,Guwahati,kochi,Kolkata,Mumbai,chennai and pune. The main attraction of the team is its tagline "Everybody Plays" , the meaning of this is 'the  whole world about the love of Keralites for the beautiful game of football'.

Mehtab Hussain
The first draft pick made by the kerala blasters is for Mehtab Hussain.The former england goal keeper David James was the head coach and also the Marquee player of the team.Former Newcastle United F.C.forward Michael Chopra was the first foreign player.

The manager-Steve coppel
The former Manchester United winger, with close to 300 turnouts for the Red Devils, and ex-Reading FC manager has to become the next coach of the Kochi-based Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Kerala Blasters.
300 games for Manchester United scoring 53 goals and even represented England on 42 occasions. He found back of net seven times for the national team.
The 60-year-old has over 30 years of coaching experience which has included stints at Crystal Palace (four times), Man City, Reading among others.

The logo, designed by Brash Brands and official logo of the KBFC was unveiled on 15 September 2014.The design is completely based on the culture of the Kerala by using the elephant.
After publishing the logo prasad v potluri said  "The logo reflects the cultural and sporting legacy of Kerala symbolized by the elephant. The elephant is a symbol of strength and pride, rooted in its family and community, reflecting the aspiration and spirit of Kerala Blasters."
